The weekly dosage of Paul van Dyk’s radio show VONYC Sessions has been feeding the electronic dance music junkies for over five years. The two hour show hosted by the worlds biggest DJ and internationally acclaimed producer Paul van Dyk is much more than just the latest records spun together. It’s a full on interactive experience with the very latest from club land, spotlights from electronic artists around the world and exclusive mixes from guest talents with the freshest electronic music covering trance, house, progressive, techno, electro and dance. The show is globally syndicated to all corners of the world; pulsating the studio walls of a radio station near you every week!

The VONYC Sessions Compilation

The amount of music that has passed thought through the VONYC Sessions throughout this year is to be relentless whittled down by Paul van Dyk for release on the 2009 VONYC Sessions compilation. They are a collection of the electronic highlights from Paul that have been road tested all over the globe at festivals, club nights and of course on the radio show. It’s not easy task selecting from all the sensational records that have not only been pleasuring Paul’s ears but dance music lovers from all corners of the globe. It’s a dirty job but somebody’s got to do it and this will be the first ever VONYC Sessions compilation, just in time for the season of goodwill to all electronic dance music lovers.

You can expect to find thumping masterpieces from the likes of Simon Patterson, Ben Nicky, Fast Distance and melodic vocal gems from Kuffdam, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Filo & Peri. and Paul van Dyk himself.

Simon Patterson’s records have been firm favourite with Paul this year and the very suitably named ‘Thump’ will be keeping the uplifting thunderbolt ‘Big Ben’ from Fast Distance company. Ben Nicky is a producer on the rise with his debut release on VANDIT ‘Special Moment’ bubbling with energy and notching a hole in many an A List DJ’s play list over the past few months. ‘Sunset Boulevard’ from Alex M.O.R.P.H. is just one of the many examples of his spectacular production skills that litter his debut album ‘Purple Audio’ and will sit along with fellow album debuetee’s on the VANDIT Label Kuffdam and Filo & Peri. The deep dark mood captured in Kuffdam’s ‘Burning Up’ was one of the highlights of his ‘Network’ LP and fresh from the release of ‘Nightplay’ by New Yorkers Filo & Peri comes the melodic vocal harmony of ‘Soul And The Sun’. Also expect PvD`s current hit single „Home" and all time favorites like „Words" or „For An Angel" and the wonderful „Nothing But You" feat. Hemstock and Jennings.

The compilation will be hitting the stores in the middle of December but, before then Paul has another surprise for you. While Paul is putting together the retrospective of this year’s electronic hits he wants you to select your highlights form the past year gone by.
